The Book Collector

Sheila Markham's series of interviews, begun in Bookdealer in 1991, is now published in The Book Collector. The journal was launched in 1952 by Ian Fleming, who owned it from 1955 until his death. Nicolas Barker was the Editor from 1965 to 2015; in 2016 James Fergusson succeeded him, and the Summer 2018 number of The Book Collector was the last under his editorship. James Fleming, the journal's proprietor since 2016 and Ian's nephew, is the new Editor. The editorial offices have moved to 14 Coxwell Street, Cirencester GL7 2BH.

The Book Collector is widely regarded as the best journal of its kind published in the English language on any continent. It contains contributions from almost every notable name in bibliography over the last 65 years, easily accessed via the Archive section on the journal’s website.
